Virtual Showroom and Interactive AR for Radar Process
Challenge
The challenge was to present their machines at fairs in a complete and innovative way that would allow them to differentiate themselves from the competition. AR Racking had a disadvantage when it came to make physical showrooms and sell their solutions due to the large dimensions of their machines, and for this reason they looked for an ally in Innoarea to help them integrate technology into their marketing and sales channels.
Solution
To satisfy the needs of Radar Process, a Virtual Showroom experience has been developed with the Interact AR tool that allows to see a complete Radar installation working in real time. This solution represents a significant cost saving in both travel and installation of the machines. Radar Process has been able to present itself in a complete and interactive way, increasing the level of interest in its solutions and adding technological value that positions it as an innovative company.
Technology
For this project we have opted for the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality device, which allows us to achieve the highest graphic quality since it works connected to a computer. The Oculus Insight system works at room scale, allowing users to move around a real space to interact with the application. The Rift S viewer has five sensors to track movement, with a system that enhances the tracking of the closest position to improve the sensation when grasping and pointing objects.
