TRUMPF
Virtual Showroom for Trumpf
Challenge
Trumpf does not have an exhibition space to present its new laser cutting machines at the Metal Madrid industrial fair. Trumpf's machines are large and have a wide variety of processes to present to customers. It is a challenge for Trumpf to display the machines and provide detailed information about them, and the company is looking to be able to capture the attention of visitors to the stand.
Solution
Thanks to our solutions Trumpf has been able to achieve its goals. For the visualization of their new laser cutting machines we resorted to Virtual Showroom and Training VR solutions. Through our Showroom VR product we overcame the physical limitations of the exhibition space, allowing Trumpf to take their machines anywhere and show them to their customers feeling that they really have them in front of them. The visitor through Virtual Reality attends the manufacturing process where he is transported to the different stages of production.
Technology
For this project we have opted for the Virtual Reality device Oculus Rift, which allows us to achieve the highest graphic quality as it works connected to a computer. The Oculus Insight system works at room scale, allowing users to move around a real space to interact with the application. The Rift S viewer has five sensors to track movement, with a system that enhances the tracking of the closest position to improve the sensation when grasping and pointing at objects in the showroom.
