AZTECA Ceramics
Immersive Virtual Showroom for Azteca
Azteca is a company with 50 years of experience, dedicated to the commercialization of coverings for the habitat environment and the manufacture of ceramic products; all of them aimed at solving the needs of customers and prescribers, and always through its services. The company demonstrates its commitment to the environment through Green Living and Azteca, affirming that it values the past, manages the present and strives for a sustainable future, not only from an environmental point of view, but also in its economic and social aspects.
Challenge
Azteca's objective is to capture the attention of visitors and transmit a renewed image of the company. Demonstrating to be an innovative company that adapts to the present and the future of the ceramic sector. To achieve its goal, the company needs a way to present itself to potential customers that will allow it to enhance the projection of being an avant-garde company. Another important challenge in this project is to create an experience that is easy to move around, which means cost savings for the company and the ability to quickly reach a larger number of customers.
Solution
Azteca is presented at trade fairs through our virtual showroom solution. Thanks to the specific application created by Innoarea Projects that uses the immersive capacity of virtual reality to recreate from scratch the spaces represented in the Azteca catalog. The application allows to switch between combinations of floor and wall tiles within the same collection. With it, the customer is immersed in the pages of the catalog of this ceramic company, creating a unique experience capable of capturing the attention of visitors.
Technology
For this project we have opted for the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality device, which allows us to achieve maximum graphic quality as it works connected to a computer. The Oculus Insight system works at room scale, allowing users to move around a real space to interact with the application. The Rift S viewer has five sensors to track movement, with a system that enhances the tracking of the closest position to improve the sensation when grasping and pointing at objects in the game.
