The solution: To design an integrated, multi-platform virtual venue with immersive zones within the physical offices
At Innoarea, we have developed a 3D digital replica of the iconic Housing Bank headquarters, deployed simultaneously on Decentraland and Spatial.io. Through this interactive space, users can take an immersive tour of the bank’s history, explore its range of products and connect in real time with representatives of the bank to ask questions and request information.
To create a tangible link between the physical and virtual channels, we have set up ‘experiential corners’ in selected branches, equipped with VR headsets. This integration allows visitors to our traditional branches to take a guided tour of the virtual branch, ensuring a comprehensive omnichannel banking experience that combines tradition with cutting-edge technology.
Cross-platform accessibility
Increased engagement with Gen Z and millennial users
Integrated global platforms (Decentraland and Spatial.io)

- Detailed 3D rendering of the bank’s head office
- Interaction points with advisers and modules containing detailed product information
- Physical spaces equipped with VR headsets to bring the metaverse experience to any customer
- Cross-platform optimisation that does not require complex downloads to use
Key findings
Housing Bank’s entry into the metaverse established the institution as the undisputed pioneer of digital banking in Jordan and across the region. The omnichannel strategy helped to democratise access to Web3, attracting both young digital natives and traditional customers who experienced virtual reality for the first time from the bank’s own physical branches.
The project not only significantly boosted brand perception in terms of innovation and leadership, but also established a new channel for agile and continuous interaction. By removing geographical and time zone barriers, Housing Bank strengthened its ties with its existing customers and set a precedent for the evolution of financial services in the future.
