The solution: A full-scale interactive XR showroom
We designed and developed an immersive virtual reality experience, enabling users to visualise entire Radar Process plants operating in real time. By integrating the Oculus Rift S headset and using five room-scale motion-tracking sensors, users can move around the space and interact with the machinery as if they were in the factory itself.
The app allows users to examine components, activate processes and understand equipment dosing and engineering with the highest-quality graphics. This solution provides the sales team with a portable and impressive tool for trade fairs and key meetings, positioning Radar Process as a technological leader within its industry.
Reduction in the costs of transporting and assembling machinery at trade fairs
Greater customer engagement and longer dwell times at the exhibition stand
Space constraints preventing the display of the full catalogue

- Position and movement tracking within a room to explore the machinery freely
- Demonstrations of operational handling and dosing processes with maximum graphical fidelity
- Tracking system optimised for grabbing, pointing at and manipulating virtual objects
- Versatile format designed for quick set-up at events, trade fairs and client visits
Key findings
The roll-out of the solution marked a qualitative leap forward in Radar Process’s commercial strategy, delivering significant cost savings by eliminating the need to transport and install heavy machinery at trade fairs. Furthermore, the spectacular nature of the immersive format significantly increased visitor numbers at the stand, generating a higher volume of qualified leads during the events.
At brand level, the adoption of virtual reality has reinforced the company’s positioning as an innovative leader in the industrial sector. The sales force now has a unique tool that conveys the quality and precision of its engineering in a clear, direct and highly visual way.
