The solution: An immersive environment in Decentraland featuring a 3D showroom and an events centre
We advised and supported Porcelanosa throughout the entire strategic and technical process: from the conceptualisation of the experience and the purchase of virtual land, to the ongoing development of the space. We chose Decentraland for its robust blockchain-based economy and its adoption by major international firms. We faithfully recreated its iconic Commodore Criterion building in Manhattan, incorporating elements representative of the brand such as the billboard and its distinctive yellow vehicle.
We have divided the virtual environment into two functional areas: the showroom, designed to explore products in 3D with technical information, explanatory videos and links to the online shop; and the classroom, a space intended to host live presentations and meetings with specialists in architecture, interior design and ceramics. At the same time, we use this channel to promote messages about sustainable behaviour and design that is committed to the environment.

Key findings
Porcelanosa’s entry into the metaverse cemented its position as a pioneering brand in technological adoption within the ceramics and home furnishings sector. By establishing a presence in Decentraland alongside international giants such as Samsung, Netflix and Balenciaga, the company reinforced its reputation for cutting-edge innovation, generating positive media coverage and capturing the interest of a young audience.
The virtual platform became a channel for building customer loyalty and fostering ongoing interaction, optimising the dissemination of news and strengthening relationships with industry professionals. The project demonstrated that combining a prestigious physical architecture with Web3 environments significantly broadens market reach and opens up new avenues for trade and sustainable outreach.
