Touchless interactive display for Argenta Cerámica

Gesture-based control of the ceramics catalogue at CERSAIE

The challenge: To attract and impress visitors at international trade fairs through the product

Argenta needed a professional, eye-catching and innovative way to showcase its product range at trade fairs, standing out from the competition at high-profile events such as CERSAIE. The main challenge was to transform the product display into an interactive experience that would attract as many potential customers as possible to the stand.

To achieve this, the client proposed the integration of Leap Motion gesture control technology. The aim was to replace or complement the traditional physical display with a sleek, visual and descriptive technological solution that would enhance the public’s interaction with the group’s digital catalogue.

Argenta Ceramics

A leading company in the porcelain and tile sector that is committed to putting people at the heart of its strategy, bringing its brand values to life through direct, vibrant and approachable communication.

The solution: An interactive catalogue that can be navigated using high-precision gesture controls

In response to this challenge, we developed interactive catalogue software that is controlled by hand movements in the air. The solution incorporated Leap Motion proximity sensor technology, which is capable of tracking and analysing the user’s gestures in real time to enable effortless navigation through the pages of the digital catalogue.

Visitors were able to explore all the collections, technical specifications and visual resources relating to the ceramic products in a natural and intuitive way. The installation of two interactive screens at the CERSAIE stand not only modernised Argenta’s commercial presentation, but also offered a memorable immersive experience to all those attending.

Key findings

The introduction of interactive screens marked a significant step forward in Argenta’s marketing and sales strategy. By replacing part of the physical display with interactive digital catalogues, the company significantly reduced its logistics and trade fair stand construction costs, thereby optimising its return on investment in the event.

At the same time, the solution strengthened Argenta’s position as an innovative leader within the ceramics sector. The experience provided a direct and effective channel of communication that not only increased the flow of potential customers to the stand, but also gave the sales team a powerful and memorable tool for closing business deals.
