The solution: A virtual, interactive showroom optimised for touchscreen devices
To meet this need, Innoarea Projects developed an interactive virtual showroom designed to run on touchscreen devices such as tablets. This tool enables sales representatives and visitors to take comprehensive virtual tours of Tavil’s facilities and packaging lines, gaining an in-depth understanding of how each system works in a simple and engaging way.
The app combines 3D renderings of the machinery with real high-definition videos of the equipment in full operation. Thanks to this technological combination, users can interact directly with different parts of the machines by tapping the touchscreen to display detailed technical information, operational diagrams and key data on the flexibility of the multi-format system.
Trade fair logistics costs, such as transport and set-up, as no heavy machinery is being moved
A significant increase in visitor numbers at the stand thanks to this unique selling point
An accessible catalogue, showcasing all palletising and case-packing solutions in a single space

- Three-dimensional modelling of automated production lines, with the option to explore specific components
- Seamless integration of 3D environments with real-life footage of industrial machinery in operation
- An interface optimised for mobile devices (tablets) that facilitates personalised sales presentations
- Interactive menus that display technical specifications when key areas of the machine are touched
Key findings
The launch of Innoarea’s XR showroom marked a turning point in Tavil’s marketing and sales strategy during Interpack 2017. By replacing traditional physical demonstrations with an immersive digital experience, the company not only significantly reduced its expenditure on floor space and the transport of machinery, but also maximised the use of its exhibition space.
Furthermore, the tool provided the sales team with a powerful and portable communication platform, capable of explaining complex industrial processes quickly and clearly. This commitment to interactive technology strengthened Tavil’s brand image as an innovative leader in the packaging automation sector, giving it a clear competitive advantage over other market players.
