Immersive Onboarding for Santalucía
360º Tour for the new employee integration process
Santalucía aimed to transform its onboarding process for new employees with an innovative, dynamic, and immersive approach. To welcome new employees in a more engaging and personalized manner, a 360º virtual tour experience was developed, featuring a detailed walkthrough of the company’s main facilities in Madrid.
This virtual tour not only provides a glimpse into the physical spaces of the company but also incorporates interactive information points, introductory videos from executives and team members, voiceovers, and questionnaires in each experience. This format aims to deliver an attractive and dynamic welcome experience that transforms the first day of work into something memorable and positive.

Challenge
The Santalucía Group sought to transform its onboarding process, which, like in many companies, could be unappealing and confusing for new employees. The challenge was to create an experience that was not only informative but also engaging and motivating for new talent from day one. This project is part of a broader strategic plan aimed at modernizing their human resources processes and enhancing the employee experience during their first days.
Solution
Our solution was to design and develop an immersive virtual tour that guides new employees through Santalucía’s main facilities in Madrid. By using high-quality 360º photographs, users can dynamically and attractively learn about the company’s environment and culture. The inclusion of welcome videos from executives and team members, as well as voiceovers accompanying each stage of the tour, ensures that employees feel welcomed and supported during their integration process.
Technology
First, we captured multiple viewpoints of each building using 360º photographs to create a realistic virtual tour. A web version was developed to be compatible with any modern browser, making the tour accessible from different devices and platforms. Additionally, a virtual reality version was created for greater immersion in the experience, accessible via virtual reality headsets.
