The solution: Virtual reality environments that replicate the real workshop
We developed VRProjectX as a comprehensive solution that combines immersive environments with real-time educational tracking. The application, available both in PC and virtual reality versions, allows students to access training modules from conventional computers or VR devices, adapting to the infrastructure of each center.
The platform was integrated with Moodle, the learning management system used by Xabec, enabling each practical session to be linked to the student’s profile and automatically recording their progress. Through a monitoring dashboard, teachers can view results, identify common errors, and adjust the training plan based on individual or group performance. This connectivity has made continuous evaluation more agile and accurate.

Key results
Thanks to the development work led by Innoarea, Xabec’s ProjectX educational methodology has made the leap to virtual reality with a clear and functional structure. Our work focused on the digitization and programming of the VR environments, creating interactive experiences that replicate the real challenges of the classroom-workshop in a safe and accessible setting. This collaboration has enabled the adaptation of complex technical content into an immersive format, accessible both from PCs and VR devices, connected to Moodle for academic tracking.
The platform developed by Innoarea acts as the technological core of the VRProjectX project, allowing teachers to monitor and assess student progress in real time. This approach has helped establish Xabec as a European benchmark in educational innovation, recognized by the Directorate General for Vocational Training with the Innovation Award. The developed solution not only modernizes technical training but also sets a precedent in the effective integration of virtual reality in regulated educational environments.
