We develop Immersive Content for Vocational Training in Castilla y León

At Innoarea Projects, we are developing a new project focused on creating immersive and interactive content for specialized rooms in vocational training centers across Castilla y León. This initiative is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) and aims to modernize the educational experience in strategic sectors. Keep reading to discover how we’re applying immersive technology to enhance technical education.

Immersive education for cutting-edge vocational training

Technical education is evolving rapidly, and vocational training must evolve with it. To meet the current challenges of the job market and the need for more practical, visual, and reality-based learning, we are developing immersive content that allows students to “step into” highly realistic simulated environments, without leaving the classroom.

Thanks to technologies such as 360º video, interactive 3D environments, and enriched multimedia panels, future professionals can experience complex situations, explore machinery, processes, and real-world work contexts firsthand, and access interactive resources in an intuitive and collaborative way.

Key sectors, specific needs

This project is being implemented across several vocational excellence centers in Castilla y León, each linked to key sectors of today’s economy. From automotive to social care, including automated manufacturing and sustainable construction, each area has content specifically designed to meet its training needs.

In every case, learning scenarios have been identified that particularly benefit from the immersive approach: vehicle inspections, industrial automation processes, energy efficiency simulations in buildings, or care in complex social environments, among others. Technology thus becomes a powerful pedagogical tool, tailored to the realities of each discipline.

Technological adaptation to immersive-interactive rooms

One of the key pillars of the project is the adaptation of content to the technical characteristics of each immersive room. Each space has its own configuration of screens, cameras, and viewing angles, requiring specific development in both 360º video and 3D environments.

We use various tools to create interactive scenarios that integrate smoothly into each room’s infrastructure, optimizing projector blending, camera placement, and user interaction. Likewise, the enriched multimedia content is delivered through intuitive interfaces that allow users to access videos, documents, links, or collaborative resources in a dynamic, context-aware way.

In addition to technical development, we also provide support for installation, setup, and teacher training, ensuring autonomous and effective use of the technology from day one.

Impact on teaching: A new way of learning by doing

At Innoarea Projects, we believe technology should serve education. This project allows us to apply all our expertise in immersive environments to transform vocational training from within, bringing students closer to real learning experiences tailored to the challenges of each sector.

We are convinced this is just the beginning of a new era in technical education, where interactive, visual, and practical elements combine to offer more comprehensive and engaging training.
