The challenge: Bringing together a rich medieval past with 21st-century tourism<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Aranda de Duero Town Council sought to showcase its extensive underground heritage and medieval history as part of the \u2018Aranda: Underground City\u2019 Destination Tourism Sustainability Plan. The challenge lay in conveying to visitors not just dry historical facts, but a sensory and exciting experience that would link the customs and trades of 1503 with today\u2019s urban atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this end, it was essential to create an interactive, easy-to-follow tour suitable for all audiences, linking the town\u2019s history with its centuries-old, still-operating wineries and the modern life of its squares and terraces.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
