The challenge: To translate an artist\u2019s unique aesthetic into an accessible and viral digital format<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The main challenge lay in adapting Bejo\u2019s iconoclastic and highly personal aesthetic to elements of augmented reality that would be appealing, functional and viral for a mass audience, whilst remaining entirely faithful to his original style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artist\u2019s visual identity is based on authentic physical details that have a story of their own, such as the vintage glasses he inherited from his grandfather or the necklace made from shells collected from the pools on El Hierro. The technical and creative challenge involved modelling these key objects in 3D for Instagram, ensuring a seamless, immersive experience on any mobile device.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

We designed and developed an exclusive augmented reality filter for Instagram that captures the colourful and festive spirit of Bejo. The solution allows users to virtually try on the singer\u2019s iconic accessories in their photos and videos, adding a fun and highly interactive element.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through meticulous optimisation of textures and performance, we ensured that the integration was seamless and instantaneous. This digitisation of the artist\u2019s personal items offered the community a novel and playful way to connect with him and his music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The launch of the filter generated an outstanding organic impact within the community, exceeding 150,000 impressions and generating more than 75,000 captures on the platform. The initiative not only strengthened Bejo\u2019s digital presence, but also turned its own followers into active brand ambassadors through user-generated content (UGC<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    With over 30,000 pieces of content shared directly, the strategy cemented the value of augmented reality as an effective channel for music marketing and engagement<\/em>.
