The challenge: Bridging the digital divide in an engaging and mobile-friendly way<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The main challenge was to design an educational tool that would be engaging for groups with little exposure to technology, such as people over the age of 65 or those living in rural areas. The aim was not only to teach digital concepts, but also to overcome the fear of technology through a \u2018learning through play\u2019 approach that encouraged intuitive problem-solving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the project required a highly flexible technical solution. As part of the \u2018Appl\u00edcate\u2019 campaign, the experience had to function seamlessly in three mobile classrooms (travelling units) that would visit 45 municipalities. This meant that a wireless system was required, one that was easy for technicians to set up and capable of providing a fully immersive experience in confined spaces.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
