The challenge: Maximising experiential learning and practical safety in healthcare training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The main challenge facing the Catholic University of Valencia was to ensure that students on the Medicine and Nursing degree programmes gained real-world practical experience before treating actual patients. To this end, the institution needed a solution capable of reducing procedural errors and boosting the self-confidence of future professionals during their training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The challenge lay in finding an immersive simulation tool that would enable critical or routine medical situations to be recreated in a safe environment. An intuitive technology was required that would complement theory with truly interactive and self-directed learning outside traditional classrooms.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Thanks to the virtual reality app developed by Innoarea, we have been able to offer our students a training experience that closely resembles reality, enabling them to practise their skills. Our future doctors and nurses will undoubtedly be better prepared now that they have virtually experienced real-life situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
