At Innoarea<\/a><\/strong>, we have collaborated on several projects with universities<\/strong> in healthcare and industry sectors, developing cutting-edge solutions for future training and education. In this article, we will explore how Virtual and Augmented Reality are transforming education and showcase real-world success stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    At Innoarea<\/a><\/strong>, we have partnered with universities on medical training projects<\/strong> using virtual reality and augmented reality. For instance, we have closely collaborated with the Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Valencia<\/a><\/strong> on an innovative project using virtual reality<\/strong> to train nurses in the realistic, step-by-step treatment of ulcers. The VR application allows students to immerse themselves in a detailed virtual environment<\/strong> where they can practice necessary techniques for treating ulcers of varying grades and conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    By following precise instructions <\/strong>and having access to virtual tools and materials<\/strong>, students can develop crucial skills in ulcer care without risks<\/strong> to real patients. Furthermore, the application enables instructors to monitor progress<\/strong> and provide real-time feedback<\/strong>, ensuring that nurses in training gain the necessary experience and confidence before working with real patients.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Success Case in the Industry Sector: Training in industrial processes in Virtual Reality<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Another example of successful collaboration with universities is our most recent project in the industrial sector<\/strong>. Innoarea <\/a><\/strong>has been part of a European project <\/strong>in collaboration with various universities and vocational schools across Europe, such as the Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Valencia, Xabec, Val do Rio, Giua, and IBW. The project focuses on developing virtual reality applications<\/strong> to train students and professionals in a variety of industrial procedures practically and risk-free<\/strong>. Below, we describe two of the activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Repair of train parts<\/span><\/strong>: One of the procedures developed in this project is the repair of train parts. Students can practice in a realistic and safe virtual environment<\/strong>, learning to identify issues, use appropriate tools and techniques, and follow necessary safety protocols<\/strong> during the repair process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Operation of an industrial laser cutter<\/span><\/strong>: Another application in this project allows students to learn how to operate an industrial laser cutter in a virtual environment. Students can familiarize themselves with the operation<\/strong> and maintenance<\/strong> of the machine, as well as practice programming and operating the laser cutter following specific instructions and protocols<\/strong>, without being exposed to the risks associated with handling real industrial equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Through collaboration in this European project, Innoarea has contributed to creating virtual training solutions <\/strong>that offer students and professionals an immersive and safe experience<\/strong> in learning key industrial skills. This innovative teaching methodology <\/strong>is helping to prepare the next generation of industry professionals to tackle the challenges and opportunities of the real world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
