AR Racking
VR Showroom for AR Racking
AR Racking is a storage systems company for all types of loads with a presence in more than 60 countries, with an export rate of over 90%. It specializes in the design, production and installation of industrial racks for the storage of pallets and specific loads. It has a Technology Center where the I+D+i area carries out its activities, a fully automated Production Center of more than 35,000 m2 and a Research and Testing Laboratory at the University of Mondragón. Its mission is to provide companies with automated storage systems that give them agile and robotized access to unit loads. Thanks to our Virtual Showroom solution, AR Racking can present its storage systems in a simple and complete way to its customers.
Desafío
AR Racking's initial challenge is to optimize the presentation of its storage systems and streamline sales by showing the operation of its industrial racks and the advantages of its storage method to as many users as possible simultaneously. The company seeks to project a positive corporate image in order to expand the network of potential customers at European and international level and to clarify the operation of the services offered.
Solución
By using the virtual showroom developed by Innoarea, AR Racking's goal is achieved. Its large automated storage systems are presented to the customer through an immersive experience capable of simulating the operation and activity of its facilities. By putting on the viewer, the user takes a tour of the company's facilities and begins to understand AR Racking's storage system by experiencing it first hand. The virtual showroom saves the costs of moving, assembling and installing products at trade fairs or events, providing a great differential value compared to the competition.
Tecnología
For this project we have opted for the Oculus Quest Virtual Reality device, the first all-in-one system designed. Setup is easy, whether the user is at a trade show, event or visiting a client. Oculus Quest adapts to any environment, allowing it to be used standing or sitting in large or small venues. Oculus Insight reproduces the user's movements in Virtual Reality no matter where they are looking, and allows tracking throughout the room without external sensors. The user can look around, crouch and move to any point in the available space.
